The KFC app is free and you do get two free hot wings just for signing up.

The restaurant said it’s all part of the Christmas spirit – with the holiday season being one of the busiest of the year in branches.

KFC said: “Nothing makes the festive season quite like a bit of gravy, and Christmas is in full swing over here at KFC HQ.

“So, what better way to spread the festive cheer than by giving away free pots of the good stuff.”

A regular order of gravy normally costs £1.29 and a large is £1.99.

A million pots are sold in the run-up to Christmas, a 20% increase from the rest of the year, KFC said.

It comes as McDonalds revealed their festive menu with a double Big Mac.
