The pub chain has confirmed that 11 of the sites it has marked for closure are currently under offer.
This means that a buyer has presented an offer that is being considered by the seller.

Venues have also hiked beer and grub prices by up to 7.5 per cent, The Sun exclusively revealed last week.
Wetherspoon pubs in major towns and cities such as Southampton and Middlesbrough are also up for sale, and several have already closed.
Thomas Leaper in Derby is one of the most recent closures, having shut its doors on February 5.
While The Colombia Press in Watford closed just one day later on February 6.
