Ex-MP for Sheffield Hallam was on trial for submitting fake invoices to help fund cocaine habit

The former Labour MP for Sheffield Hallam Jared O’Mara has been found guilty of six counts of expenses fraud.

O’Mara, 41, was an MP between 2017-19 and was on trial at Leeds crown court for submitting fake invoices to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (Ipsa) to help fund a cocaine habit.
