Easy way to make draught excluders

One savvy woman named Melanie Mckinnell explained how she was struggling to get her hands on draught excluders.

Deciding to take matters into her own hands, she made her own – using items she already had at home.

In a post, uploaded to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she shared an image of a pair of tights that had been stuffed with the contents of the inside of a pillow.

Alongside the snap, Melanie penned: “Just made 2 draught excluders with old cushion fillings and a pair of tights, took 5 mins cost nothing.

“Not perfect but will do the trick.”

She added: “Might help somebody because my son went in about 5 different shops looking to buy some and nowhere had any.”
