WILKO has made a huge change to its stores and parents – and children – will be disappointed.

The retailer has announced that it is reducing the range of toys sold in its stores.

It says it will be focusing more on household and garden products, which prove more popular with customers.

Wilko will be making the change gradually across all of its UK stores.

But shoppers will still be able to buy selected toys online.

It currently charges £4.95 for standard delivery and £7.96 for next day.

Wilko also confirmed that seasonal toys, such as paddling pools and Christmas presents, will be available at relevant times of the year.

The retailer currently has more than 400 branches across the country.

Wilko isn’t the only retailer making huge changes this year.
