It has also been a hit with celebrities, with Demi Lovato and Diplo among those to stay there.
Owners Chris and Roberta Hanley said the home in the Joshua Tree desert, in Southern California, was partly inspired by the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Between the primary bedroom and the two other bedrooms sits a large, open-plan living area containing a 100-foot-long indoor pool.
