SHOPPERS are keen to get their hands on a Lidl electric blanket that can help save on energy bills.
The cost of energy has soared in recent months and households are looking for ways to save money.

Many are turning to the “heat the human not the home” motto hailed by consumer champion Martin Lewis.
The phrase relates to buying products, like electric blankets, that reduce the amount you have to use your heating.
Lidl shoppers have been rushing out to buy its Silvercrest £23 blanket that costs just 2p an hour to run and can slash bills.
The blanket comes with six heat settings, three-year warranty and a shut-off setting that will turn it off automatically after a set period of time.
It’s machine washable as well, although shouldn’t be washed over 30°C.
Of course, you won’t be able to get the product online so should head to your nearest Lidl to see if they’ve got them in stock.
