This is on top of the usual Boxing Day bank holiday on Monday, December 26.

There is also a bank holiday on January 2 with New Year’s Day also falling on a Sunday.

Ikea has dozens of stores across the country and opening times can vary across the UK.

All Ikea stores will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The majority will then be open at varying times on Boxing Day – the retailer is urging shoppers to check before visiting.
