Geoffrey Palmer, the actor best known for roles in sitcoms including The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, As Time Goes By and Butterflies has died aged 93. Palmer’s TV career also included roles in The Avengers, Fawlty Towers and Doctor Who.
