This is as well as the usual Boxing Day bank holiday on Monday, December 26.

But times might change slightly from the norm over the Christmas bank holiday so we’ve rounded up everything you need to know.

Is Co-op open over the Christmas Bank Holiday?

Co-op is to close all its convenience stores at 9pm on Christmas Eve.

All stores will then remain closed on Christmas Day.

On Boxing Day, convenience stores will open between 8am and 9pm.

Co-op stores will stay open until 9pm on New Year’s Eve, before reopening on New Year’s Day at 8am.

Shops usually open around 6am or 7am, and close at 10pm or 11pm.
