ALDI’S Next Big Thing is a Channel 4 series that’s like Dragon’s Den meets MasterChef.

The show sees amateur British food suppliers go up against each other to win the prize of supplying all Aldi supermarkets with their creation.

Can you buy the winning items on Aldi’s Next Big Thing?

Aldi is on the hunt to discover new suppliers with exciting original products.

Each episode sees a batch of new contestants competing for the opportunity to have their product picked up by the chain and sold in stores up and down the country.

Over six weeks on Channel 4, at the end of each episode, a winning product is picked.

Aldi says the “series is a part of the supermarket’s commitment to support British suppliers”.

Freddie’s Farm – Fruit Shapes

Charles and Laurie grow fruit on their farm named after their six-year-old son, Freddie.

Unlike other brands the fruit has not been boiled, baked or cooked, so there is a slower rate of sugar absorption.

Harrison & Griffiths – Rum Cake

Founded by Colin Harrison and Paulette Griffiths, the pair met nine years ago and bonded over their love of baking.

They produce the finest Jamaican Rum Cake which is infused with Wray & Nephew White Rum and was previously found on the shelves of Harrods.
