A LUCKY ticket holder has scooped $2.04billion (£1.76billion) — the largest lottery prize in history.
The winner bought the ticket in California, US, after a rollover for three months without anyone winning the top prize.

The odds of bagging the jackpot were said to be one in 292.2million.
The Powerball lottery winner, who organisers did not identify, bought their ticket at a service centre in Altadena.
They can take the full prize, paid over 29 years, or a cash lump sum paid immediately.
The winners usually opt for the lump sum, which for yesterday’s jackpot was $997.6million (£864.5million).
Previously, the highest lottery win was $1.6billion (£1.3billion), which was divided between three US people in 2016.
