SHOPPERS have been heaping praise on Aldi chocolates that taste just like Ferrero Rocher and cost less.

The German supermarket chain is stocking Moser Roth Nocciola Chocolates, a dupe of the popular Christmas snack.

The sweet treats come in at £2.59 and one shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook sharing how they’d come across them in their local Aldi store.

Posting an image of the chocolates, they said: “Saw these in Aldi yesterday. Just as tasty as Ferrero Rocher.”

Hundreds of people have liked the original Facebook post and dozens have commented buzzing to grab some for themselves.

One said: “Gonna have to try these,” while another added: “I’m going to have to get these.”

Meanwhile, some customers who have already tried the Ferrero Rocher dupe were full of praise.

One said: “These are lovely. I ate loads when I worked at Aldi.”

Another added: “I can confirm they taste as good as they look.”

Of course, it’s always worth shopping around for the best deals.

For example, the Moser Roth Nocciola Chocolate 150g box costs £2.59 which works out as £1.73 per 100 grams.

Whereas an original 300g box of Ferrero Rocher pralines was cheapest online at Asda for £6.

That works out at £2 per 100 grams which is more expensive than the Aldi dupe.

The next cheapest place to get the 300g Ferrero Rocher box was Iceland where they were £6.50.
