People that work in the NHS, Emergency Services, Social Services, Social care sector and armed forces can all get the discount in stores.

With 633 stores across the UK it’s worth checking if you qualify for the discount card.

As the cost of living continues to rise it’s even more important to save money where you can.

Inflation hit 10.1% in September and is back to a 40-year high, meaning the price of things you need to stock up on are rising.

The ONS said rising food prices were the major factor which drove up inflation between August and September.

Asda has confirmed to The Sun that the discount will continue to be available to Blue Light Card holders until at least the end of the year.

It comes after there was speculation on social media that the offer will be finishing on October 31.

Asda first brought in the discount back in May and said it’s a move to help support their customers who are struggling to cope in the cost of living crisis.
