Davino Is Listed As A Producer On Sweeney’s Upcoming HBO Max Show, ‘The Players Table’
Sweeney launched her production firm and her debut project back in 2020. The Players Table is an HBO Max miniseries that the MMA fighter will both create and star in, according to Deadline. The television series, which is based on Jessica Goodman’s book They Wish They Were Us, will center on a high school senior who investigates the unsolved death of her best friend at their prep school. According to a report from Deadline, “Fifty-Jonathan Fifty’s Davino and Meghan Oliver will also produce.”

But it appears that Sweeney is also getting her fiance’s assistance with movies. Sweeney will produce and star in a version of Marcus Kliewer’s short story, The Caretaker, according to a recent Deadline report. This declaration was made following a heated bidding conflict. According to the report, “Sweeney is producing through her Fifty-Fifty Films company with her partner Jonathan Davino.”

Sweeney and her fiance appear to be keeping themselves very busy with their endeavors. It’s interesting to note that the MMA fighter has expressed a dislike for dating Hollywood types. She opened up about why it was a strict restriction for her in an interview with Cosmopolitan earlier this year.
Sweeney said, “I don’t date individuals in the spotlight. “I don’t date artists, actors, or anyone in the entertainment industry because it’s simpler and allows me to be just regular Syd. My network of supporters is excellent. It appears that Sweeney chose to disregard her own guidelines.
