ALDI has revealed the 29 locations it wants to open new stores.
The discount supermarket has said it is hoping to open branches in cities like Birmingham, as well as smaller towns such as Maidenhead.

They will add to the more than 970 stores Aldi already has – and it says it hopes to continue expanding.
Aldi is already set to open 16 new stores this year creating more than 6,000 new jobs across the country.
Here’s a full list of all the locations Aldi is looking to bring new stores:
- South East – Caversham, Farnham, Maidenhead and Worthing
- South West – Bath, Teignmouth and Penzance
- West Midlands – Birmingham, Coventry and Warwick
- East Midlands – Chesterfield, Leicester and Derby
- East of England – Cheshunt, Brentwood and Rayleigh
- North West – Warrington, West Didsbury and Formby
- North East – Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland
- Yorkshire – Harrogate, Otley and York
- Scotland – Cathcart, Bonnyrigg and Ladysmill
- Wales – Barry and Chepstow

Aldi is still on the lookout for more sites suitable for a supermarket.
The site should be able to accommodate a 20,000sq foot store with around 100 parking spaces.
It says the ideal location would be near a main road with good visibility and access.

Aldi has previously offered a finder’s fee to anyone who can help it find a new store.
The Sun has contacted Aldi to find out of it is still offering this deal.
Lidl has also appealed for help form the public to help it find locations for new stores .
It offered a fee of 1.5% of the total freehold purchase price or 10% of the first year’s rent for leaseholds.
It said this would equate to a whopping £22,500 for a completed £1.5m site purchase.

Yesterday, Aldi revealed it is creating £3,000 new jobs in the run up to Christmas.
Store assistants earn a minimum hourly rate of up to £10.50 nationally, and £11.95 inside the M25.
