Protesters demand better future for children

The UK has seen prices rise for a while now.

Prior to the COVID pandemic lockdown, waiting times on the NHS were already at a record high, but things have gotten substantially worse.

Since then, people are waiting for ambulances for an hour or two in some areas. Now, with fuel and food more expensive, many are concerned about how they’ll make it through the winter.

Pay has remained stagnant and so many have taken to the streets to protest.

In Glasgow, protesters could be heard chanting: “Tories, Tories, Tories! Out, out, out!” and “The workers, united, will never be defeated.”
