To get the deal, you’ll need to order any adult main dish, Monday to Wednesday, from October 19 until October 28.

You’ll also need to show a voucher from the Toby Carvery app, which is free to download from the App Store or Google Play.

The voucher, which you’ll need to show to your cashier when paying, can be found in the “offers” section of the app.

An adult carvery costs around £8.99 although prices vary depending on the branch.

If your little one doesn’t fancy carvery, the £1 deal also covers all other children’s mains.

Other mains include sausages and giant Yorkshire pudding, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, tomato and meatball pasta and a chicken burger.

The deal doesn’t include breakfast or takeaway options, and is only for children aged 12 or under.

Up to four adults and four kids can use the offer at one time, but it can’t be redeemed on top of any other discount.

Toby Carvery has 158 restaurants in the UK. To find your nearest one and to book a table, check out its branch locator tool.

If you sign up to the free Toby Carvery newsletter for the first time, the restaurant chain will give you 25% off mains during one visit between Monday to Friday.

The 25% discount is available for the first 28 days – but remember, it can’t be used on top of the £1 kids meals offer.

You’ll want to keep an eye on coronavirus restrictions in your area as we explain the different rules for pubs and restaurants.

Pubs, bars and restaurants across England are already restricted by a 10pm curfew, with similar rules in place in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales where coronavirus is a devolved issue.

In more restaurant news, Gourmet Burger Kitchen has revealed plans to close 26 sites and axe 362 jobs.
