Online-gambling operator BetMGM plans to open a sports-betting facility at the Arizona Cardinals’ home field near Phoenix this weekend, the first at a National Football League stadium.

The two-story, 17,000-square-foot sportsbook on the grounds outside State Farm Stadium is the latest melding of sports and gambling in America, as sports-betting operators attempt to build lucrative customer bases among sports fans.
