Man who was chased by gunman who killed nine-year-old girl held for breaching terms of prison release

A 35-year-old man who was being targeted by the gunman who shot and killed nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel has been arrested for breaching the terms of his release from prison and will be questioned in connection with the murder, Merseyside Police said.

DCS Mark Kameen said: “I can tell you the male I discussed at the press conference yesterday, who had been shot at and chased into the home address of Cheryl and Olivia, has now been arrested.
