More than 20 MPs including Jeremy Corbyn will defy leadership and vote against bill
More than 20 Labour MPs are expected to rebel against the party leadership at the second reading of a bill confirming MI5’s right to let informants commit crimes.
Keir Starmer wants his party to abstain on the security bill on Monday night but the Socialist Campaign Group led by the party’s former leader Jeremy Corbyn intends to break the whip and vote against – the second such rebellion in less than a fortnight.
