James Glover, who was charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm, and mutilation got sentenced to remain behind the bar for thirty to fifty years.

In July 1982, he was attacked by his close friend James Glover, while watching Benny Hill. He was in his apartment in Northwest Detroit’s 19300 block of Woodbine together with his friend Glover.
He was first wounded with a 45-caliber handgun shot from behind. For the following three days of his murder, his girlfriend and a close friend spent time mutilating his body with a hacksaw.
