This year’s Emmy Award nominations will be announced at 11:30 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday and available to stream on Emmys.com. The nominations will be read by the actors J.B. Smoove, known for his role as Leon Black in “Curb Your Enthusiasm” (the HBO show is a potential nominee for best comedy), and Melissa Fumero, who last year completed an eight-season run in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” They will be joined by Frank Scherma, the chairman and chief executive of the Television Academy.

The 74th Emmy Awards will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 12 on NBC and will stream live for the first time on Peacock.
