A THREE-bedroom family home is on the market for just £550 a month – but it’s hiding a very unusual secret.

The townhouse in Abergwynfii, Wales is close to the coast and boasts a “sunny lounge” and large garden “looking out onto wooded hills” according to the estate agent.

While it may look ordinary from the outside, prospective buyers of this coastal townhouse may get more than they bargained for

However it comes with a bizarre feature – a toilet in one of the bedrooms.

The advert for the home, posted by Peter Alan estate agents, promises a spot “in the sought after location of Abergwynfii” but makes no mention of the bonus bog squeezed into one of the bedrooms.

The larger bedroom features the unusual addition of a toilet facing the bed.

However, with no sink in sight, a hygienic resident still might need to pop downstairs after making use of this odd piece of bedroom furniture.

While there are two more bathrooms in the basement, one of which has a spacious shower, the only loo on any other floor is hidden in someone’s bedroom.

However, with off-street parking and a large lounge making up an entire floor, the house is still a bargain at this price.

In addition, there is a big family table in the kitchen, with a cat-flap already installed in the back door.

Abergwynfii, which used to be a coal mining village, is now popular with holidaymakers.

A nearby mountain holds the source of the River Afan and the Upper Afan Valley area is known for mountain biking and adventure walking.

The local village holds playgrounds, pubs, cafes, a church, a primary school, and bus routes into larger towns – including Bridgend, Port Talbot, and Cardiff.
