New England Sports Network, the TV home of Boston’s Red Sox and Bruins teams, said it would become the first U.S. regional sports channel to launch a stand-alone streaming-video service.

Fans in New England will be able to stream the network, which is popularly known as NESN, for $29.99 a month, or $329.99 annually. The app, named NESN 360, will have the same live feed as the TV network, plus exclusive content.
