A THREE-bedroom house with its very own sun-soaked garden has hit the market for the same price as a vintage handbag.

The mid-terraced property in Stanley, County Durham, is on sale at the staggeringly low bargain price of £5,000.

Set in the middle of Pine Street, it boasts one reception room, kitchen, three spacious bedrooms, lobby, and a downstairs family bathroom.

The house also has a rear garden – perfect for those with children looking for a safe place to play.

Despite the abode’s great features, it would cost you more to buy a second-hand Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld Timeless Bag – which would set you back £5,400.

The home, which is being auctioned by underthehammer.com with a guide price of just £5,000, could also be extended to the rear subject to planning and would be ideal for investors looking for a project.

It has fantastic transport links as it is around five miles away from Chester-le-Street Station, meaning owners could be in the nation’s capital within four hours.

Buyers could also enjoy days out in the historic city of Durham as it is merely a twenty-minute drive away.

The house is in close proximity to local primary schools for families.

In Stanley, the average house price is  £110,000 compared to London where it is £670,000.

Meanwhile, a four-bedroom home has also been put on the market for an unbelievably low price.

The three-floored bargain property comes complete with a balcony, but is a steal at just £25,000.

London’s typically eye-watering house prices have a reputation for breaking the bank – including the UK’s most expensive studio flat at £1.85 million.

The capital’s most expensive mansion was put up for over £55 million in 2016, making the Finchley abode look even more appealing to more frugal-homeowners.

But while it may not be able to compete with these Northern homes that were put up for auction at just £1, the North London residence still looks to be in the running for deal of the century.

Located above a pharmacy, the bargain property is just over a mile from Finchley Central station, giving ideal access to the nation’s capital.

On the other end of the spectrum, a seven-acre vineyard has hit the market at £1.5million – with storage for 25,000 bottles.

Kent‘s next wine merchant can now snap up the Barnsole Vineyard, near Canterbury, along with all its labels.

The vintage property, which opened almost 30 years ago, has certainly got better with age, now producing up to 80,000 bottles of plonk every year.
