Morrisons offers low cost meals for its shoppers who stop by the cafe – whether they’re looking for a quick breakfast bite or full on lunch.

The first menu switch up happened in February this year, with prices starting at just 99p for certain hot drinks and sides.

These include a pot of tea, black coffee, garlic bread, two slices of bread and butter, and coleslaw.

While the most expensive menu option is the ultimate breakfast, priced at £7.49.

It comes with three sausages, two bacon rashers, a fried egg, two flat mushrooms, half a tomato, two slices of black pudding, two hash browns, a helping of Heinz baked beans, and a slice of fried bread.

And then today, Morrisons announced another switch up to its menus – though prices have gone up with the changes too.

The full list of new items introduced today are as follows:

  • Half chicken, chips and coleslaw – costs £6.99
  • Cream tea with ham sandwich – costs £2.99

But fans of the southern fried chicken option will be disappointed, as this was removed from menus today.

Though Morrisons told The Sun: “All the other new lines are incremental newness and aren’t replacing anything.”

So every thing else is sticking around, meaning the menu just got bigger.

To view the full menu, visit Morrisons website.

And to find out where your nearest branch is, use the Storefinder tool online.

Some menu items may not be available at certain stores – so make sure to check by calling the team up before making a trip.

Morrisons also promises that kids can eat free at the cafe under certain conditions.

For every adult meal purchased costing at least £4.99, shoppers are entitled to a free kid’s meal – all day, every day.

And for those with no time to sit and eat, the grocer explains that visitors can place a takeaway order on their mobile or at the till, to collect once they’re ready.

The click and collect service is available for from Monday to Saturday between 8:30am and 8pm, or between 10:30am and 3pm on Sundays.

To place an order, shoppers can either use Morrisons’ web app, which doesn’t need to be downloaded, or call up.

If using the web app, you’ll be required to pop your postcode in and select which store you are collecting from.

Choose whether to eat in or takeaway, place your desired items in your basket and checkout to complete the order.

Note that you can collect your food within a specific time frame by selecting a slot, or grab it immediately.

Some customers who have already tucked in to a meal from Morrisons’ cafe have taken to Twitter to rave about it.

One said: ” I have just had pretty much a perfect bacon roll in Morrisons cafe. Chef’s kiss.”

While another said: ” Can’t beat poached eggs and avocado on toast from Morrisons cafe! Absolutely superb.”

Though others weren’t so keen, with one person writing: “Morrisons cafe for breakfast, expectation vs reality – might want to up your game, Morrisons.”

The post was accompanied by two photos – one of their ordered breakfast and one of the advertised picture.

Meanwhile, shoppers will be hit with limits on certain food products in supermarkets due to a new food crisis calling for rationing.
