Motive not immediately clear in what Israeli police has called ‘terrorist attack’ across several scenes in city centre

At least two people have been killed and eight seriously wounded in a shooting in Tel Aviv’s city centre that Israeli police called a terrorist attack.

The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear, but it came amid heightened tensions after a series of deadly attacks carried out by Palestinians.
