ASDA has slashed the price of its own hanging egg chair, so shoppers can pick up the new garden furniture piece for just £200.

The store’s Natural Novaro hanging egg chair was £249, but now shoppers can save £50 if they splash out on the new £199 price tag.

It’s available to buy online at George at Asda, but remember an extra delivery fee of £14.95 will be added on top of your spend.

The chair will come flat-packed, so you might need to have a slight flair for DIY if you want to get it set up in your space as soon as possible.

It comes complete with weather resistant cushions though so once you found a home for it in your garden it can stay throughout the unpredictable British summer time.

Hanging egg chairs have been met with a massive demand over the past few years.

And they’re set to be just as high on shoppers’ “must-buy” lists this year too.

Already Aldi shoppers have shown how keen they are for the garden furniture staple – as the budget supermarket’s product sold out in under an hour earlier in the year.

Aldi’s popular product is even a little cheaper than Asda’s.

The Specialbuy costs just £190 – but shoppers of course have to wait until next time it hits the discount store’s shelves to cash-in.

It does go to show though that you should have a shop around before you splash out yourself – you might be able to find an even cheaper deal that is a steal AND is still in stock.

Compare prices with tools like Google Shopping or Price Spy to find the best.

B&Q has its own hanging egg chair on sale for £180, for example – so you could save another £20 on the price you fork out if you went for the alternative.

The egg chair is not the only bargain shoppers can snag right now.

There’s actually a site wide sale on all garden furniture happening.

Part of that is a four person hot tub slashed in price from £400 to £320, saving shoppers an impressive £80.

It’s not the best deal we’ve seen on garden spas though – Argos has an even better deal to cash-in on right now that’s another £80 cheaper.
