Who Is Samurai Killer Morne Harmse?
Morne Harmse is popularly known as the Samurai killer on the web. He served 10 years in jail from 2009 to 2019 and then filed for parole. However, the procedure got lengthy and finally, he got released on 3rd March 2022.
The case is sensitive and his ransom is also under strict conditions. The decision of the court can revoke anytime if the man is found doing anything suspicious over the course of his lifetime.
Even though very few details have been revealed on the killer, he is said to be from Krugersdorp South Africa. Since the murder happened he is called a ninja killer or Samurai killer because of the weapon he used to kill him.

Morne Harmse killed an innocent teenager, Jacques Pretorius in 2008 with katana which is a Japanese sword. The victim was a student Nic Diederichs Technical High School and was just 16 years old.
He not only killed him but was attempted to kill other three pupils from the same school and was behind the bars for three counts of attempted murder along with first-degree murder.
The reason behind the homicide has not been revealed but he completed his minimum time in jail on 9 June 2019. Even though he had to be out of jail only on 9th March 2029, he got his parole beforehand and got out in 2022 itself.
Before getting the release date, he had to appear in front of the Zonderwater Management Area Correctional Supervision and Parole Board (CSPB) eight times in total.

Despite the popularity of the case a decade ago, the Samurai killer has not been coined on Wikipedia. Similarly, very little is known about the nature of the murderer considering his privacy.
His first victim is named Jacques Pretorius and the other injured ones are not revealed yet.
