SHARING your screen shouldn’t be just for work conference calls.

It’s also a fun way to show friends and family photos or watch content at the same time as each other despite being far apart.

It’s easy to share your screen via Facebook Messenger or FaceTime and we’ve rounded up how below.

How to share your screen on Facebook Messenger

TikToker @tehno_mike recently demonstrated just how easy it is to share your screen on Facebook Messenger.

The trick works on both Apple and Android versions of Facebook Messenger.

Open the Messenger app and start a video call in your relevant chat by clicking the camera icon.

When you’re on the call, swipe up on the toolbar and expand the menu.

Here you can click “Share your screen”.

How to share your screen on FaceTime

You can also share your screen on a FaceTime call.

You’ll need to have downloaded the latest iOS software to do this.

There are three key things you can do with Apple’s SharePlay feature.

These are: Listen together, watch together, and share your screen.

First, start a FaceTime call with the people you want to share your screen with.

When you’re on the call, tap the “Share Content” button that looks like a person in front of a screen in the top right corner.

Tap “Share My Screen” in the dropdown menu.

After a delay of a few seconds, screen sharing will start.
