MCDONALD’S is a family feast-time staple, the discount meals are loved by people all over the world, but exactly how much do each of the menu favourites cost?

McDonald’s is the perfect restaurant to grab a snack on a budget as often menu items will start from just 99p – especially if common promos are involved.

If you know where to look you may even be able to snag yourself a freebie from the chain.

For example, back in the summer, McDonald’s launched its annual Monopoly game where stickers on menu items would reveal all sorts of prizes – some of those prizes, including free food, are still redeemable now as well.

But on any regular day you might find you have to fork out for the fast-food snacks.

That’s not to say they aren’t cheap though, McDonald’s has famously low prices that mean you won’t go over budget for your burger and chips meal.

Here we take a look at the prices of some of the fast food chain’s all-time favourites in the UK.

What is on the McDonald’s menu and their prices?

McDonald’s menu is same across the UK – stock and ice cream machines permitting – but its prices differ.

In central London a Big Mac will set you back £3.79 or £5.29 as a meal, but in Slough the same items cost £3.29 and £4.69, respectively.

We’ve listed the prices as the ones on Slough High Street, the cheapest McDonald’s we can find. But they may be higher at your local restaurant.

Six chicken nuggets cost from £3.29 while nine are £3.59 and a share box of 20 is £4.19, according to the McDonald’s app.

You will only need £0.99 for a small portion of fries, £1.19 for a medium one and £1.49 for a large box.

Children’s favourite the Happy Meal costs £1.99.

The McDonald’s wrap of the day goes for £1.99 alone or and £3.49 as a large meal.

On Mondays it’s the Spicy Veggie One or Sweet Chilli Chicken, on Tuesdays it’s the BBQ Bacon & Chicken One, on Wednesdays the Sweet Chilli Chicken and Thursdays have the BBQ Bacon & Chicken One or Spicy Veggie One.

On Friday McDonald’s sells the Sweet Chilli Chicken One for £1.99, on Saturdays the BBQ & Bacon Chicken One, and Sundays the Sweet Chilli Chicken One.

Other wraps sold at Maccies include Garlic Mayo.

What are the McDonald’s promotion prices?

The fast-food chain regularly updates its menu, usually every six weeks.

Some items loved by customers often reappear such as the popular Double Big Mac, which left restaurants on November 16.

Other promotional items McDonald’s fans cannot wait to see back on the menu are the Big Tasty, the Chicken BBQ Smokehouse burger and mozzarella dippers.

But the popular festive menu is now in and grabbing attention, with camembert bites at £1.99 for six and the custard Festive Pie for £1.19 among the highlights.

We particularly liked the Festive stack (£4.69) with red onion relish, white cheese sauce, bacon and cheddar.

What time does McDonald’s lunch menu start and what time does it finish?

While the timetable might vary depending on the restaurant generally most Maccies start serving lunch at 11am.

That’s when the restaurants stop serving breakfast so it would be your last chance to grab a breakfast McMuffin or hash browns.

McDonalds continues serving its lunch menu throughout the day until closing time.
