You don’t need to break the bank either as great products designed for this weather can start from as little as £4.
But you will want to be quick, partly because the glorious sunshine might not stick around long, but mostly because products have been selling out quickly.
Keep in mind that each gadget available to cool hot and bothered Brits will be subject to availability and the hot temperatures will have shoppers flocking.
Before you splash out, make sure you shop around online as you may be able to find cheaper deals.

You’ll need to be quick though, as it’s only available while stocks last.
The beddings is specifically designed to give you a more comfortable night’s sleep when the nights get hotter.

It’s one of the cheapest options available.

You can get single-use ones, which tend to be more pricey, or reusable ones that you can pop in the fridge or freezer each time.
Here it might be worth avoiding the cheapest options as they tend to get poorer customer feedback.
But this £9.99 version from Amazon has 4.5 stars out of five, with over a thousand reviewers.

Most full sized air conditioning units are very expensive, but a smaller one might do the trick for a fraction of the price.
For instance, we found this Mini Water-Cooled Rechargeable Air Conditioner for just £33.99 online.
The air conditioner cools the air using the evaporation of water. It draws in hot air and transforms it into refreshing air using water added to the top tray.
The long-lasting battery means it can be used for 24 hours when fully charged or you can keep it plugged in.
We also found a JML version for just £30 on Amazon, although the reviews weren’t as glowing.
Reusable ice cubes – £6 – buy now

Making ice cubes is messy and time consuming, so reusable ones can remove a lot of the hassle.
Even better, you can use them to keep your drinks cold without diluting them as the ice cubes melt.
There’s plenty of options out there, but the cheapest we could find per cube, were these reusable ice cubes from John Lewis – £6 for a pack of 30.
