EVERY YEAR or so, duty requires me to review one of General Motors’s family of large and extra-large SUVs: Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade. I know a lot of people love these things while I, historically, have not. But there is no avoiding them. Together the first four account for about 70% (227,790 units) of the large SUV segment in the U.S. Our guest this week, the redesigned Chevy Tahoe, is defending the title of bestselling full-size SUV for the past 19 years.
