GIVE IT SOME WELLY: Adults should check out George at Asda, now selling no-nonsense khaki wellies for £8 instead of £10. Meanwhile, Crocs are selling selected Wellington boots for half price with some great men’s options.

For smaller feet, H&M have kids’ wellies from £8 in the sale.

PUSH ON: Buggy accessories can be expensive but the universal buggy rain cover from the Anyday collection at John Lewis is £15. Amazon.co.uk have a few reduced to £11.75, but these tend to be buggy brand-specific.
