ROSY POSY: Poinsettias are a great budget festive gift for your nearest and dearest.
A large potted poinsettia is reduced from £7.97 to £3.97 at gardeningexpress.co.uk.
However, at Lidl the very cute mini versions are £1.99 a piece — perfect for little ones to give to grandparents.
Look out for the Aldi poinsettias landing in stores this week.
At Homebase, order a 15cm poinsettia for £7, and get a gold ceramic pot for half price, usually £4.95.
A FESTIVE BUNCH: Pick up a “Silent Night” bouquet from Asda, it includes seasonal flowers in red and white variations.
At homebargainsflowers.co.uk, the pineapple plant for £21.99 in a gold metallic pot is a winner.

POT LUCK: For something small, cute and very festive, get down to a B&M store.

BERRY NICE: Frame your front doorway with two gorgeous holly bushes.
At Robert Dyas, a pair of 80cm-100cm standard Holly bushes was £59.99, now £49.99, plus the plastic gold plant pots are included. M&S also does a single holly bush in a pot for £65, a similar one can be found at wowcher.co.uk for £24.99 instead of £29.99 — a steal.
TREE-MENDOUS: An ornamental tree looks great on the mantelpiece and you can order one for £23 instead of £33 from bloom andwild.com.
However, xmasdirect.co.uk is also selling nine-inch potted trees for £7.49 that come in raffia wrap and a red bow.
Another idea is to pick up the little trio of festive trees in red pots, decorated with snowflakes for £24 from Wilko. You could divide them and gift them individually.
