Want To Be An Instant Millionaire? Create A Million Naira Idea!: Dr. Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase: March 17, 2014 | Inspiration Views: 1836
The prayer we said went like this: "Father, give us a product or service idea that will be of great benefit to those using it; create wealth for us and those selling it for us and replenish the pockets of those buying it from us."
It was a simple prayer. But we said it earnestly and had huge faith that it would be answered. We had a burning desire to become financially free. And we were following the script that Napoleon Hill outlined in his mega-successful book, Think And Grow Rich, to the letter.
A couple of weeks later when the answer to our prayer came back, I knew instantly that the idea was genuine and that It would transform our lives. At the time we received the idea, we didn't have a savings account. My monthly salary was barely enough to carry us from one month to another. And we didn't know where money would come from for us to execute the idea.
But, all the same, I was filled with joy and was celebrating as if I had won a lottery. Why? The answer is simple: Napoleon Hill had said that ideas are money. And this one was a solid idea.
The idea we received was for us to go into the publication of sporting titles. As anyone who has followed our story will recall, there was a long journey between the time we received the idea and when we had a breakthrough. Despite the fact that our journey to Breakthrough was almost like the Israelites' journey from Egypt to the Promised Land, one undeniable fact is that what finally took us there was the God-given idea that we prayed for.
So, I am not kidding when I say you can become an instant millionaire with a sound, tested idea. The moment you receive a million naira idea, you have become an Instant Millionaire because that idea will lead you to your pot of gold. And how rapidly it takes you there depends on how well you master the art of using sound ideas as a stepping stone to reaching your goals.
Now, the questions are: How do you create an idea? Do you travel to somewhere to get it or it just drops in your lap? Is there a plan, formula or system for creating fortune-generating ideas? If there is, can you be taught? If yes, is it easy to learn? And how would you know that the idea you received is the real thing?
To the questions as to whether there is a plan that one can follow step-by-step to create money-spinning ideas; whether one can learn it and if it is possible to recognize it, the answers are a resounding "Yes!"
And in a way that has become characteristic of SuccessDigest, I have presented an easy-to-follow guide for generating life-changing ideas; ideas that will make you an Instant Millionaire, in this collector's edition.
Believe me, creating an idea is not rocket science - even though it appears so - when you don't know how to go about it. But once you know what to do, which I have provided in a way anyone with little intelligence can understand, you will breakaway from poverty forever.
And it doesn't take hard work. It is as easy as brushing your teeth in the morning. Neither will it cost you an arm and a leg. You won't spend more than the N 100 you paid for this edition of SuccessDigest and the cost of a notebook and a biro (or pencil).
Turn to page 12 and find out yourself. But before I sign off, let me answer a question that I know you may wish to ask me about the prayer my wife and I said to receive our idea.
I had told you that we received an idea to start a sporting title publishing business which we actualized on November 3, 1984 (that's the day our first title, a 4-page tabloid which we called Sports Souvenir, was first published). But what happened to other aspects of the prayer?
The first part, that the idea should be of benefit to its buyers, was fulfilled to the letter. Although it is a universal fact that a product that does not serve quality benefits to its buyers will die a natural death in the marketplace, Complete Football, our flagship sporting title at Complete Communications Limited, was hailed by its readers worldwide in 1993 as having played a major part in seeing the Super Eagles of Nigeria through to their first appearance in a World Cup final at USA '94.
And our God, whose power never fails, used the organisation publishing the title to avert an impending FIFA ban from the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games where the Nigerian team later defeated football giants Brazil and Argentina to win the gold medal.
As for those selling the product for us becoming wealthy, it was more than ten years later that I had a testimony that God, in His wondrous ways, had also answered that prayer. I was in my office one day when our newsagent in Jos, Elder Ademola Ishola, paid me a visit. In the course of our discussion, he said he thanked God for using our products to bless him.
"But for your products," he testified, "I don't know what would have happened to me and my family."
Mr. Ishola was the sole distributor for Concord Group of newspapers in Plateau and Bauchi States and, at that time, the Concord newspapers, as well as Punch and The Guardian, were under government ban.
"That Mercedes Benz outside there," he went on, pointing at the vehicle, "was bought with the money I made from selling your products."
When Mr. Ishola was expressing his gratitude to God and to our company for producing what has turned out to be life-sustaining products, my mind made no connection between what I had just been told and the prayer my wife and I said back in October 1984.
It was much, much later that it all came back to me. And I was awed by the awesomeness of the living God whom I serve.
