HOME Bargains shoppers are racing to bag a £200 summer essential scanning for just £29.99 at the till.

The discounter has slashed the price of garden must-have just as people are starting to spruce up their outdoor space.

The bargain retailer is selling a Swan freestanding patio heater for just £29.99 and one shopper said the item usually retails for £199.99.

The deal was shared to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, and other deal hunters were quick to comment.

One person said: “This could come in handy.”

Another added: “This might be an idea to keep everyone outside.”

While a third commented: “This could be good for the party.”

The heater has three power settings and also comes with a remote control so that you can adjust the temperature from afar.

We always recommend shopping around to get the best deal so we checked to see what other retailers were charging for the heater.

Dunlem has the heater on its website priced at £99 and Wilko also has it listed for £110.

Robert Dyas has the same one for £81.99 and it is also listed on Swan’s official website reduced from £79.99 to £39.99.

One Facebook bargain hunter said they had spotted the heater for £22.95 in The Range.

We could not find the heater on The Range website for that price but it does not mean that you cannot get it in store.

Bear in mind that sometimes you can get offers in store that are not online, so it is always worth keeping your eyes peeled.
